National Institute of
Social Communications Research & Training invited an eminent
personality for an intensive workshop for the Diploma students. Mr.
Edward T Mc Dougal an expert in Hollywood industry came from America to conduct
this workshop. This five days of workshop gave students simple, yet powerful
techniques of movie making.
Mr. Edward encouraged
the student to be goal oriented. The outcome of this workshop was a grand
success as each student produced one short movie each. All the movies were
screened on the last day of the workshop with the short programme in which some
important people like president of ICMA, editor of Indian Currents were
present. All the student received the certificates and three students received
the awards for the best film, best hard worker and best team player
respectively Sr. Sania, Fr. Joseph and Sr. Stavina. The diploma students felt a
sense of satisfaction and a great happiness as this is their first step in the
production of short film.
